i really dig themed beat tapes. a few months ago Black Star did a show down here
in tampa the after party was at the infamous Old Dirty Sundays where in Talib kweli
did an exellent dj set for 300+ party ppl. he played some Fela for about thirty minutes
and the whole vibe of the party changed-ppl went from head nodding to dancing and thats
rare for a hip hop crowd (yall know). kenosobi and i were there and were already talking
about doing a project together- we were like yea a Fela tape! you can get it here
