Impact Brazillionaires

BIGup Spon letting me know that Al jaZz and him just dropped Brazillionaires.  The last project Spon put out, Buy Surprise, flexed his beat making skills, and he’s back to flex his lyrical ones.  Al jaZz and Spon linked up through a remixed track that Al jaZz did.  Shortly after that,  they started sending beats back and forth.  Most of the samples for Brazillionaires are from Brazilian tracks- hence the name.  Needs vs. Wants, & Listen and Learn are a couple of my favorite tracks, but you can ride out on the whole thing. It seems like there’s been ALOT of interesting things going on in Dame Dash’s world ever since the opening of his new DD172 recording / art studio. Aside from the recently released Blakroc project (that is getting favorable response from the masses right now), there seems to be a ton of extra curricular work getting done as well. And Creative Control TV has been documenting most of it.

For example, here’s a Ski Beatz / Mos Def collabo called “Taxi.” Who knows where this is gonna end up. I’m just elated to Ski tappin’ the pads again (well, he never really stopped, but you know how that goes). This is really dope.

2. shift + 6 to open the program menu.

3.in programs hit f2 for parameters.

4.highlight decay and hit open window.

5.change the level to 0 and the start to 100 then close.

6.while in programs change your overlap to "mono" or "note

off"

7.go to main screen and hit the sample u want to chop on

"velocity" in the 16 levels mode. it's the button right

under "full level" to the left of pad 1 then turn on.

8.now u got chops.

9. you can also tweak the chop start time by adjusting the

start values.
