Analog Vinyl Sampling-ISHAC BERTRAN

Analog Vinyl Sampling from Ishac Bertran on Vimeo.

Sectors from a vinyl record are cut and replaced by pieces with exact shape from other records. When played in a vinyl player the needle follows the grooves from both sectors creating sampled tunes or loops.

Amazing.

Thes One live on the MPC 3000 (BEAT SWAP MEET LA)

Thes One is known for creating some classic Hiphop records(People under the Stairs-"San Francisco Knights); his weapon of choice is the Akai MPC 3000. He stopped by the Beat Swap Meet to showcase how he gets down on his machine, and answered questions the audience had about producing.

The Beat Swap Meet is gaining historical value of its own. Each quarter you can catch this great event.
